I tried to melt away.
I wanted badly just to be

I hope you saw the stars tonight, wherever you are.
I hope you did not find yourself bound and tethered to a schedule which you believe that you must keep.
I hope you saw the sky tonight, even if you did not see any stars.
I hope you saw something of the world above you tonight, wherever you are.

robots
watering green lawns
in faceless towns
